Registration FAQs

The country in which our company is based/operates from is not included in the list on the website regarding required documentation. What documents do you require from me?

For countries not specifically listed on the list of requirements, please refer to the “All other countries” list in Appendix A for the required documents.

Please note that this list is not exhaustive and that ODC may request further information at its sole discretion.

Who can certify the supporting documents? Can I self-certify?

The relevant documents must be certified/notarised by a qualified external lawyer, chartered accountant or Notary Public.

How do I send my registration to ODC?

We require you first to submit electronic copies of your registration documents in order for the registration process to commence. (Where there are large attachments, please separate the emails and send with attachments no larger than 6MB each). Once a company or individual is successfully registered, we request that you courier the original hard copies to the ODC physical delivery address provided on the registration form.

Where do I send it?

Hard copies should be couriered to Plot 67782, Diamond Technology Park, Block 8 Industrial, Gaborone, Botswana

How long does the registration process take?

Once all the documents have been submitted, and the registration form correctly completed, the screening process takes about 48 hours.
